Edit Menu Details
Use this command to reverse the last editing action, if possible. The name of the command changes, depending on what the last action was. The Undo command changes to Can't Undo on the menu if you cannot reverse your last action.

Use this command to remove the currently selected
data from the document and put it on the clipboard. This command
is unavailable if there is no data currently selected.
Cutting data to the clipboard replaces the contents
previously stored there.

box will appear, giving a list of object types which may be inserted.
Use this command to list and edit links to embedded
objects. If no linked objects are present in the current document, this
option will be unavailable.
Object Properties command (Edit menu)
Displays the properties of a selected embedded object. If no object is selected, this option is unavailable.

Use this command to activate the selected embedded
or linked object. If no object is selected, this option is unavailable.
