Housing

Two servos were mounted to the back of two light switches. A wire was used as a hook to flip the switch when the servo turns, so the switches switch fast and smoothly.
LCD Faceplate
A dremel tool was used on blank faceplate for mounting the LCD display. Buttons
Holes for pushbuttons were cut out of the bottom area of the LCD plate. In the picture above, there are 4 buttons: - Blinds open
- Blinds close
- Temperature Up
- Temperature down
Due to the quality of the pushbuttons, the temperature control though buttons was removed. All temperature setting was programmed to be controlled with a remote control. The holes were instead used for the IR sensor and the IR emitter.
Electronic Components
Each device with it's components detached from housing were connected, programmed, and tested before finally being packaged together.
